I was expecting it to be a little thicker with more padding. This bag is so sleek and expensive looking. But it is a great bag over all. I was only looking for somthing slim as i do not need a bulky bag because my computer never leaves the house. This is the perfect size. I had priced other bags for 17" laptops and they were 80 dollars or more. The only thing is it does not have a velcro strap to secure the laptop in place inside.
Nice touch. This lightweight, cushiony case is perfect. I wanted a thin, not big or heavy carrying case for my 17" laptop for those times when I don't need to carry a lot of stuff. The inside is primarily for the laptop, but can fit a few papers, and laptop accessories such as a mouse, AC cord, charger, computer lock and connector cable, but it is not a briefcase. You can carry it or attach the shoulder strap. The outside front pocket is has a velco closure. If you want to carry a lot of paperwork and other office accessories, you will need a more traditional briefcase. I am very satisfied with this well-made, quality product.
I purchased it by looking at the image shown here on Amazon, but when I received this item i was disappointed. There is not enough space for the charger and other stuff like CD and notebook.
It is hard to find inexpensive carrying cases for 17" notebooks. It has plenty of room to fit my computer easily with all of the accessories. All I was looking for was a simple case to get me from point A to point B on an occasional basis. This case fits the bill. There is sufficient protection for minor bumps and dings that you might expect. And best of all, I didn't have to spend $75 or more to buy it.
The product is packed nicely and arrived with no damages. I am quite satisfied with the backpack.
